Beijing, China – September 14, 2025 – Laser projection met cutting-edge digital technology as the 2025 China Tour · GOLFJOY Open wrapped up at Beijing’s prestigious Reignwood Golf Club, offering a spectacular celebration that bridged virtual innovation and traditional fairways.

Seventeen-year-old prodigy Zhou Yan emerged triumphant after battling gusty winds and a tense playoff. Finishing with rounds of 68-68-68-71 for a 275 total (-13), Zhou secured his seventh China Tour title and third win of the 2025 season.
The award ceremony was attended by Mr. He Fengxiang, Chairman of the China Golf Association, Mr. Wei Qingfeng, Secretary-General, Larry, Chairman of GOLFJOY Technology, Mr. Li Jinliang, Director of the Men’s Professional Events Department, Mr. Yang Qing, General Manager of Reignwood Ecological Park, and Mr. Xia Qing, Chairman of Lisheng Sports, who jointly presented trophies to the winners.

Thrilling Finale Under Challenging Conditions

Final-round play at Reignwood Golf Course was shaped by swirling winds, testing both technical skills and mental resilience. Only Cao Senshou kept pace with Zhou’s title charge, creating a gripping two-man duel.
Zhou built a three-shot cushion over the front nine, but drama struck late: bogey on 16 and a costly double bogey on 17 erased his advantage. Both players parred the 18th, forcing the season’s first playoff.

The crowd erupted as the playoff began. After matching pars on the opening hole, Cao faltered on the second, finding deep rough and carding bogey, while Zhou calmly saved par to seal the win. Amateur Kuang Yang, competing on a GOLFJOY sponsor exemption, shot even par over four rounds to finish T20 and earn Best Amateur honors.

Star-Studded Field and Innovative Formats

This year’s Open featured the strongest regular-season lineup in China Tour history, bringing together veterans, peak performers, and emerging stars such as Liang Wenchong, Jin Zihao (2024 Money Leader), Wang Shouqian (2025 Guangdong Open Champion), and Zhang Xinjun.
The tournament also debuted a China Tour Club Cup, pairing 12 amateur teams with professionals in the weekend rounds — blending elite competition with community engagement.

Technology Drives Golf’s Urban Future

As a homegrown golf-technology leader, GOLFJOY achieved a new milestone in 2025 by sponsoring both the March Women’s Open and this Men’s Open, becoming the first Chinese company to support two top-tier professional events in one year.

“Our commitment to China’s professional golf lies at the heart of industry growth,” said Wang Jijun, Chairman of GOLFJOY. “By supporting premier tournaments, we showcase technological innovation and shoulder our social responsibility to elevate the game.”

Golf Powered by Chinese Innovation

By the end of 2024, over 10,000 GOLFJOY simulators had been installed nationwide, generating more than 4 million annual rounds — one-third of total outdoor play in China that year.
These systems are expanding golf’s reach into offices, residential communities, and schools, giving young players unprecedented access.

“Simulators break down venue barriers and create convenient pathways for youth participation,” noted Wei Qingfeng, Secretary-General of the CGA.

With new urban golf projects advancing in Guangzhou and Hangzhou, the sport is entering an exciting era of accessibility and high-quality growth across China.
